About half of the 397 listings for 1965 took place in North America, but the geographical distribution is very uneven. Note the concentration in Eastern Massachussetts. Oklahoma events(13) outnumber Texas, 2 or 3 times the size. Minnesota lists 11 sightings, while neighboring Wisconsin has none. Sightings are oddly missing in vast areas: Kentucky, Tennessee, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Alabama and Delaware shown one. The Canadian provinces of Manitoba, Sasketchewan, Prince EdwardIsland, Newfoundland, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories are all vacant. Instead, activity picked up in South America.
