This map shows sightings for all dates in Europe and parts of North Africa. Many if not most African sightings were reported by Europeans. The place-name "tags" feature is turned on here, thus Germany is tagged 'GER' in dark green characters. Sightings densities for each country are adirect function of the activities of their respective UFO groups, journals and investigators. An unbiased sampling would probably show a much more even distribution of events. Sightings in France and Britain are well represented due to diligent investigation, open discussion and wealth of UFO relatedmaterials there.
