This site previously listed various rumors about Area 51. Due to the current witch hunt political climate where terrorists are the new witches and almost anyone can be accused of being one by the government ( including web masters who simply link to stuff at other web sites ) we decided to take down the rumors and just leave up the facts.

FACT: Area 51, also known as Dreamland, S-4, The Ranch, The Pig Farm, The Skunkworks, Watertown Strip, and The Box, is located at Groom Dry Lake, in the remote Papoose Mountain Range of Nevada. It is an active secret and guarded military facility about 90-120 miles northwest of Las Vegas.

Evidence: Although I have not seen the base itself, I personally saw an entrance road to the base guarded by a jeep on a hill. I saw many warning signs and a surveilance camera. From the satellite photos and the lore, I am 98% certain that had I continued past the warning signs, I would have encountered the base in the pictures. (Well, actually I assume I would have been arrested before I saw the base.) The military nature of the area is supported by the signs at the perimeter.
