...A dentist to drill ... requiring local anesthetic .. is relatively invasive and time intensive, with typical procedures lasting up to 60 minutes. Because of the generation of heat and desiccation, drilling also sometimes inadvertently damages pulpal contents, necessitating either root canal therapy or tooth extraction.
The HealOzone device shortens treatment time to 25 seconds; finding the infected area is the most involved part of the process. Each treatment cycle consists of 10 seconds of ozone application, 10 seconds of vacuum application to remove the gas, and 5 seconds to apply reductant. In addition to being expedient, the HealOzone system is user friendly. ... 2/9/2006 Health / Teeth. Brush teeth with bar soap to kill bacteria, avoid flouride?
I once again have a few cavities. Now I'm trying to cure them by brushing with healthy oatmeal bar soap. No, it doesn't taste bad. Yes, it seems strange, but it may be a super cheap way to heal teeth. I heard from a microbiologist years ago that ordinary soap breaks bacteria open and "spills their guts" on contact due to the surface tension. It also makes them slippery so they rinse off of teeth, I think. No bacteria = no cavities. So far I've found only one study which said coconut soap for 10 min during 15 days reduced S. Mutans bacteria on dentures, but not signficiantly. Does ordinary soap kill s. mutans bacteria? I haven't been able to find any simple clear studies either way so far.
G. Judd, a chemist, has some interesting things to say, but he seems oblivious to the fact that s. mutans bacteria produces a sticky film and excretes acids when it eats the sugar you eat. ( See my tooth article for more. ) You can buy tooth soap here if you can't find a healthy soap in your area.
MAKE TEETH CLEAN ONE BRUSHES WITH ANY BAR SOAP. ( There are good toothpastes at the health food stores. Check the ingredients before buying. Don't get anything with glycerine in it.) Soap washes off in just 2 rinses. What about toothpastes? Glycerine in all tooth pastes is so sticky that it takes 27 washes to get it off. Teeth brushed with any toothpaste are coated with a film and CANNOT PROPERLY REENAMELIZE. Taking calcium and phosphate in the diet results in reenamelization of the teeth, but only when they are clean. Bar soap does a perfect job in cleaning the surface. The enamel thickens and becomes less sensitive. Adenosine diphosphatase furnishes phosphate to teeth. Gums are disinfected by brushing with any bar soap. Not only bacteria and viruses are destroyed promptly by small amounts of soap in water. .. Fluoride in water at 1 part per million INCREASED tooth cavities in four large reliable studies (7%, 22%, 45% and 10%, averaging 21%). The reason far these increases has to do with the fact that adenosine diphosphatase is destroyed by fluoride and CALCIUM FLUORIDE which slips into the enamel, is alien to the tooth composite and makes the enamel weak, brittle and discolored." - Gerard F. Hints: Never use "antibacterial" soaps because they contain poisons. Use only pure organic soap with ingredients you recognize and wouldn't mind eating. I use an oatmeal soap ( fatty acid salts) from a healthfood store.

"A study by scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has found that the human adenovirus Ad-37 causes obesity in chickens. The finding supports evidence from other studies that two related viruses, Ad-36 and Ad-5, also cause obesity in animals ( mice and nonhuman primates ) . According to Leah D. Whigham, the lead researcher in the new study, human adenoviruses may cause human obesity, but more research is needed before a screening test and vaccine become reality." - newsmed

Why is the British man below wearing an anti-bird flu suit? The bird flu is spreading. Tijan Abdel-Qadar, a 15 year old girl in Iraq, seems to have died from the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus. "If confirmed by subsequent tests at a laboratory in Britain, it would be the first incidence of the disease in the Middle East." Iraq? Tests in Britain? Bush, bird flu ... it all seems to be falling into place... conspiracy theory alert: bird flu as bio weapon?
"The elite may have created this bird flu, like HIV and SARS, to help with the Illuminati plan of population reduction.
I have heard that they want the population reduced to about 1 billion people. This bird flu may be a major head start toward this goal. ... I think what might happen is that the World Health Organization will release a new Anti-Flu vaccine that will become mandatory. Before anything has happened, there is positioning that will allow you to blame a massive bird flu outbreak on 1) terrorists, 2) nature, or 3) Bush and "the New World Order".

1/11/2006 Health / Dry eyes. Try taping them shut?
My eyes are very dry and burning today and they were this morning as well. They feel like this picture. I wore my full strength glasses inside yesterday and I
didn't get much sleep over the last few days. (That's probably the main cause). Reader feedback/suggestion:
"Hi, I want to thank you for the research about dry eye. Exploring all directions is the scientific way of not buying the very common doctor's speach on dry eye syndrome. Congratulations ! I also want to share my experience with you, altough I have a mild MORNING dry eye onset. My ophtalmologist suggested, after my tears quality was evaluated, and did not show abnormal, that I may sleep with eyeslids slightly opened. I therefore tried with a significant improvement to shut my lids with a light badage tape ( the kind that lets air in -brand here in France is "Micropore"-) when sleeping. In my case, it improved my symptoms a lot. The drawback is that it may be stressfull for most people to force eyelids shut with a bandage tape. I hope this will help a few, and open a new research path. Kind regards."

Perhaps you can't do much about gasses from inside the Earth, but what about stopping personal methane leaks? You can't ... but you can improve the situation. Eat more rice. Don't smoke or chew gum. Don't eat sorbitol, cruciferous vegetables, carbonated beverages, or beans for a few days. Try a cup of peppermint tea. Try Beano. An enema?
