Luna's is always a fun place to play! Due to lot of people calling to see when we were playing next after the show with Jason Marz, Luna's asked us to come back and we did!

Luna's Cafe
1414 - 16th St.
Sacramento, CA (916) 441.3931
Opened for ... Jason Mraz! What, Again?! Yes, in Sacramento. Dig it! At this show Xeno discovered the Luna's lemonade and the turkey pesto sandwich before the gig. There was a car crash outside while Jason was playing, but no one was hurt. Jason was, as always, inspiring and the audience was justifiably in awe. We sold many CDs! (click to enlarge pics.)

The Parkside
1600 - 17th
San Francisco CA

Opened for the amazing Jason Mraz! Made new friends and Xeno discovered that the crepes in this place are excellent. Nick joined us on drums and set up outside the club while people were eating. (It is a well known fact that drumming helps speed the human digestive process.) During the Mraz show, Xeno did a back flip onto the stage and took Jason's guitar, secretly replacing it with his own 12-string guitar! The results: Mraz sounded just as sweet. Meanwhile, in private, out in the back by the Tiki, there were some unmentionable goings on... (click to enlarge)

True Love Coffee House
We opened for Jason Mraz and Anton Barbeau. What can we say? This: Jason and Toca are most inspiring! The full house got quite a show. We sold all of the CDs we had. Xeno had fun in the wee hours of the morning playing some electric lead guitar and singing with Anton. The waffle king did his thing, and anton shot laser beams out of his eyes when no one was looking.

Songwriter's Night w/ Anton Barbeau, Noah Nelson, Xeno & Jackson Griffith Host: Christian Kiefer. Ages 21+

Although we missed Hence, this show with Xeno & Amy was a fun one. Xeno's friend from "far away" really liked Jackson's teenage angst/revenge song about burning down the "Tasty Freeze".

2-3 PM

Cinco De Mayo Party, Galt, CA

We enjoyed playing this small party. The food was excellent. Balance Tree House opened with some hip hop, during which there was some break dancing. After Xenophilia played, Bill Mylar smoked out some cover tunes. Xeno gave away some free cd's again.

Wednesday

5-7 PM

UC Davis Segundo Dining Commons

Here's A MAP of the location on campus. This was a fun show. We gave away several CD's and had a good time. Memorable moments: The bee that tried to land on Hence's flickering tongue. I laughed so hard I messed up my guitar part. Amy's tiger shirt (see pic), watermellon writing ( well, I'd never seen it before), and the corn cob dancer(s) (see pic) who were having so much fun they had to have an encore. Special thanks to Broeck Jones for lending us a capo. We hope you enjoy the free CD! As I was leaving, some happy volleyball players wanted some pics. Here they are, sorry they're a bit blurry.

True Love Coffeeshop
Ah, now this was an interesting show. We played after Phil R Monic and Ramona the Pest got the place warmed up. Xeno told the story of his real interview with a Chupacabra (2nd hand) witness and had the audience draw what they thought it looked like while the band played. Here are the RESULTS and Story

For a little audience surprise at this show, we had taped boxes of Macaroni and Cheese to the bottom of people's chairs.
